Redmond is a welcoming and diverse town in King County, with a population of 72,000. Situated 15 miles Northeast of Seattle, Redmond is known as the region’s hub for technological innovation, with both Microsoft and Nintendo of America calling this city home. Schools in Redmond are highly rated, and fall under the Lake Washington School District

Redmond is a beautiful place to live, filled with tree-lined streets and well-maintained landscapes, as well as golf courses and access to Lake Sammamish. The city is known as the ’Bicycle Capital of the Northwest,’ and features a considerable network of cycling lanes and trails with easy access to all areas of the community.

There are regular community events held in Redmond, such as outdoor movies, concerts, and seasonal festivals. Residents are spoiled for choice with a wide selection of parks, malls, restaurants, and sporting activities. Redmond will be the terminus for a Light Rail line that is expected to be completed in 2024, providing commuter access to Bellevue, Seattle, SeaTac airport, and Everett. Recent apartment and condominium construction in Redmond has been in anticipation of this Light Rail station.
